Adults & Teens
I believe learning from clients is essential to meet them where they are. And I strive to develop a bedrock of trust and rapport with each client, which is crucial to a strong therapeutic relationship.
Areas of focus: I work with adults and teens tackling issues that include depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, identity issues, boundaries, communication, and work issues

My treatment modality is primarily based on three schools:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: which helps address unhealthy automatic thoughts.
Depth psychology: which explores how our unconscious has shaped our worldview and behavior
Somatic therapy: which works from a belief that trauma doesn’t just exist in our minds but in our bodies, as well
I enjoy working with ADULTS interested in using self-exploration to facilitate positive change; these clients range from those who know exactly what they want out of therapy to those who just feel something is “off” to those just giving therapy a try.
I’ll work at a pace comfortable for each client, and I don’t shy away from exploring complex personal challenges.
I also help ADULTS and TEENS resolve far-reaching substance abuse and addiction issues. I have experience with how unhealthy behaviors can impact many areas of life. And I have experience with how therapy can lead to positive change.
After graduating from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, I spent over a decade in Hollywood, first as an actor and then as a television writer.
I began volunteering in various capacities, including as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for a child in the LA County foster system, a hospice companion, and a counselor on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. My passion for helping others led me to obtain a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
